Sandcastles R us.

When the kids were younger, we really designed our backyard for them. Part of that design included an elevated area that was nothing but sand. Sand box?...pffft.. We have a SAND YARD!!! The kids have always loved it. Yesterday I watched as the boys dug, created and worked diligently to create a masterpiece.




Is there a squatting gene? ALL my Chinese kids can spend a day on the beach, making castles and nary a grain of sand on their hineys. I'm talking hours!


This was great practice for Liam. It's nice to see he likes building sandcastles because soon, we will be back on the sandcastle circuit, doing this.....
