Liam's visit to the orphanage

Rich took the kids back to the orphanage today. Liam decided he wanted to say goodbye to his freinds one more time. The orphanage had a going away party for him already but they graciously agreed to let them come back. They had short notice on the timing so they stopped at a store and picked up bags of candy for all his friends. Liam was smiling ear to ear showing his baba around the school. They were not allowed into the living quarters, just the classroom area which Rich said would rival any private school in America. School is out for the summer but the kids do morning work, recreational activities in the morning and field trips in the afternoon. Rich noticed a change in Liam after the visit. He seemed more confident, and much more vocal. Rich said that he's been relatively quiet, even though he's seemed happy but after they left the orphanage it seems Liam found his voice and began teaching the kids how to count in Chinese, chattering away at them, repeating everything they say and was definitely much more relaxed. He spoke to me on the phone. This is our conversation.
Me: Hello le le
Liam: Ello Mama
Me: Wo ai ni le le
Liam: I luff you mama
then he proceeded to count to 11 in english, giggling the entire time!

Rich wanted to take the kids to the Shanghai zoo but apparently the kids from the orphanage go there frequently so he didnt really want to go again. They opted for an acrobat show but the one that was recommended was too late in the evening for my dog tired crew. They went to an acrobat/circus show that started late afternoon with acrobats, magicians and the motorcycle ball of death thingy where 5 motorcylcles enter a round cage. Liam saw this and said rather loudly "OH MY GOD" in english. (he did NOT learn that from us) :-)

Here are the orphanage pictures. If you see your child and would prefer that I dont post the picture, please let me know and I will remove it.
