We had to divide and conquer today. It was Ashley's last School Barbecue and Maddie's first swim meet of the season. I got to get up at the butt-crack of dawn to have her to warm ups by 7. Rich got to leisurely hang out til 11:00 before heading off to Ashley's school.
I took these videos of some of her events, she had an amazing swim today and shaved off a lot of time. She will need those times since they moved her up an age group and qualifying times are lower.
This is Maddie's breast stroke heat. She is in the lane furthest from the camera. Disregard the people warming up closest to me. They occasionaly pop up into the line of sight of the camera. She won this heat.
This is the 200M backstroke. She is in the lane closest to the camera. She won this heat.
After missing the start, she had a lot of time to make up. Even after losing some time with her start she still shaved off 6 seconds off of her best time. This is the 100 freestyle, maddie is in the lane closest to camera.
