The cupcake service project

Brittany is a confirmation student and is required to do community service hours. She came up with an awesome project that fulfilled her love of baking and a need in the community this holiday season. She decided to make cupcakes for our local food pantry to deliver with their Thanksgiving meals. She will also be making them again to be delivered at Christmastime.

The food pantry needed dessert for 100 families, so she made cupcakes and boxed half dozen in each.

That's 600 cupcakes.

100 cupcake boxes were decorated by our younger Religious Education students. Grades 3 to 8 students did a fabulous job making the boxes festive.

Some friends from Religous Ed. Classes helping to frost and box the cupcakes.

Shaun and Liam doing their share, curling the ribbons around each box.

100 boxes of cupcakes loaded and ready to go. Brit is in the front, with friends who helped get these treats frosted and to the food pantry.
