Easter... yeah I know it was 5 days ago

Just getting around to emptying my memory stick and going through pictures. Easter was bittersweet this year as it was the first year without my parents here. We are trying to make new memories and it was fun having all of my siblings and their kids all together.

My kids are not allowed to wake us up before 8:00 on Christmas morning and Easter. Next year I'm changing that rule to "no one gets out of bed until 8:00". They were partying in each others rooms from 6:00 to 8:00....

We all head down to the baskets together, me watching the kids make mental notes of where all the eggs are for our egg hunt later in the morning. The easter bunny fills eggs and hides as many as he can, and throws the rest willy nilly around the house. There is only so many places to hide 600 eggs.

This year the easter bunny chose tote bags to use as baskets for the girls, and a baseball gear bag for Shaun.
