Shan is a 12 year old girl who was part of the same Journey of Hope camp that our son was. I watched the video of her and couldn't help seeing the kindness shining through. She was the one who was always watching for someone who needed help, always smiling, always willing to try something new.
Shan is an attentive student who completes her homework independently and is involved in extra curricular activities. She likes to draw and make paper flowers.
She is anxious to have a family and would love them to have a garden she could work in with them. She would also love an older sister, and even a dog.
This is the ONE and only child who's family has not found her yet.
The Social Workers from Alliance for Children spent 2 days with the children. They talked to them, learned about them, interviewed them. There are pictures and videos available of Shan.
She played edelweiss on her instrument and did so beautifully!

Shan has a heart defect. A fairly serious one. She needs to be here where she has a chance at growing into a beautiful healthy adult! Shan has so much to offer. Please consider her for your family or help me spread the word about her. She will be 13 in July, and her hopes of finding a family, will significantly diminish.
